Conditions we treat
Relief from back pain is one of the most common reasons people come to a chiropractor, but it is not the only one. These are the conditions our patients come in with most often.
Back pain
Something as simple as twisting the wrong way in bed can cause back pain; others are hurt at work, at home or in a car accident. Relief from back pain is one of the most common reasons people come to a chiropractor.
Neck pain
Neck pain can come from tight muscles in the neck and upper back, a pinched nerve, stress, long hours in one position, minor falls, overuse or whiplash.
Leg pain and sciatica
Sciatica is pain that runs from the lower back down the leg, sometimes with numbness or tingling, often from a disc pressing on a nerve.
Headaches and migraines
Many headaches start in the neck or come from tension. We look at the neck and upper back as part of your care.
Whiplash and car accidents
A sudden jolt to the neck in a collision. Symptoms often don't appear until days later: neck and back pain, pain into the shoulders, headaches, or pins and needles in the arms.
Sports injuries
Strains, sprains and overuse injuries such as runner's knee and tennis elbow, from school sports to weekend games.
Arthritis and stiff joints
Arthritis can affect the spine, fingers, wrists and knees, from an old injury or simply from age, and makes joints painful and stiff.
Osteoporosis
Bone loss that raises the risk of fracture. Care is adapted to it, along with advice on diet, exercise and preventing falls.
TMJ (jaw) pain
Gentle adjustments to the jaw, neck and spine, and soft-tissue work for the muscles around the jaw.
Text neck and posture
Hours spent looking down at a phone strain the neck and upper back. Rehabilitation exercises help you hold a better posture.
